Whetu work shops

 During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.


The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been the origami and pompom birds.


The new learning that I have learnt is that if you make a mistake and it does not go well then you can try again.


What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are making the pompom birds because I had so much fun making them, and the origami because on the day it was my dads birthday so I made him a heart and I had so much fun making it and I love doing origami.


 I am interested in learning more about how to make different types of pompom bird styles and how to make more origami creations.

Finger prints

 This week for one of our rotations was fingerprinting where we get ink on our fingers and we dab some of the ink on to a paper towel if it is too much and we print it on a piece of paper and it will show our fingerprint.  on the day police named Sally came in to show us how to see your fingerprint and told us some cool facts about your fingerprints. Did you know that you get your fingerprints when you are 16 weeks in your mum's tummy, pretty cool.
