This week for our letter of the week the letter is "T" and I love my letter of the week for this week. I needed to set a picture that looked like Taylor for my proper noun so I got a picture and I polylined it to make it look like Taylor it was hard but also really fun to do. I also like to find a colour starting with the letter and for this colour I did Teal. Here is my letter for the week.

Whetu work shops

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been the origami and pompom birds. The new learning that I have learnt is that if you make a mistake and it does not go well then you can try again. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are making the pompom birds because I had so much fun making them, and the origami because on the day it was my dads birthday so I made him a heart and I had so much fun making it and I love doing origami.  I am interested in learning more about how to make different types of pompom bird styles and how to make more origami creations.

Inquiry

Image
This few weeks we have done some Inquiry. Our question is "should animals be kept in zoos"?And I think they should because they get fed easily and get to make friends. What I did to present my work is a static advertisement witch is a sort of an ad from a newspaper.

Cross Country Reflection 2020 This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10s age group. I am most proud of my place I came for cross country, I came 13th place super happy. I think my effort towards our training at school was really good it pushed me to my limits and made me faster than I was before. I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by trying my very best and not giving up on anything.

Chapter chat

Image
This week Whetu started chapter chat again which I was super happy about.  The book we are reading is called wink and it is a great story so far.  For my activity, I did a freak scale and I love it, my favourite part is the scale because I think it is colourful and yeah.  The hardest part was drawing it because I needed to think about what I could do for the border.

Whetu challenge

For our Whetu challenge, we did a character google drawings and it was actually quite hard, fun and most of all amazing. I worked with my learning constellation group jelly beans The hardest part was every part, doing the outlining of Maggie was hard but I really like the final project. My favourite part is every single line of my character.
